General chatbots are built for text, and they read drawings poorly. Most of what a project needs to know is on the sheets, so we invented proprietary methods to pull that information out of drawings. Ask where a tag or note shows up, then step through each place on the sheets. Callouts take you straight to the detail they point to.

Draw a box around one symbol and Vest finds the rest on the sheet. You check the dots, press Done, and the count is saved to the project.
Ask about a picture
Draw a box around part of a drawing, or attach a photo, and ask what it is. Vest reads it against the schedules and notes in your set.

Vest is only as good as the data behind it, and in construction that data is scattered across drives, inboxes, the trailer, paper, and a dozen apps. Most teams don't have time to pull it all together, so we do it for you.
We come to you, find every place your data lives, and put it in order. Then we set up your team so new files keep flowing in. You do not need a tech person on staff.
We sync the folders you choose, and new files flow in as your team saves them. Your original files stay where they are, and you keep working where you do today.

Bid numbers, contracts, means and methods: your documents are some of the most sensitive things your company has. Vest keeps each company's data in its own database, shows people only the projects they are added to, and never uses your documents to train a model.
Will it make things up?
Any AI can, which is why every answer opens the exact page it came from, highlighted, so you can check it in seconds. When the documents cannot support an answer, Vest says so. It shows you the page, or it tells you the documents do not say.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Your documents are never used to train any model.
We already use Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud. Why add Vest?
Keep them. Vest works alongside them. The assistants in those tools only see what is inside that tool. Vest reads your drawings, specs, RFIs and submittals together, and opens the page each answer came from.
How long does setup take?
It depends on how many files you have. We run the document processing for you, so your team just signs in and starts asking questions.
What does the field need to learn?
Very little. If you can type a text message, you can ask Vest a question. Tap a source number to see the page it came from.
Can we use this on U.S. government, federal or military projects?
Not yet. Documents from government and military projects carry legal requirements we have not built the protections for, so they stay out of Vest for now. We scope that work with pilot partners who need it. If that's your work, tell us on the pilot form and we'll tell you honestly what it would take.
We're on the design side, not a GC. Is Vest for us?

Get VestTavana grew up working construction with his dad, and worked in the laborers' union while earning his Computer Engineering degree. He's watched good crews lose whole days chasing answers that are already written down somewhere.
After graduating he joined Apple, where Daniel became his mentor and is now his co-founder. Both went on to build startups in AI, computer vision and machine learning. When they asked architects, project managers, superintendents and foremen what slowed them down, the same answer kept coming back: finding what the documents already say. That's what Vest does.
