Vest is currently offered through a pilot program. These are the terms pilots run on, in plain language. Each pilot is also covered by a signed agreement between us and your company.
Uploading or syncing documents to Vest gives us permission to process them only to run the service for you. It does not transfer ownership, and it does not give us the right to use them for anything else, including training AI models.
Pilot agreements include confidentiality terms covering your documents and project information. We treat bid numbers, means and methods, and project details as confidential by default.
Vest cites its sources so answers can be verified in seconds, and it abstains when the documents cannot support an answer. It is an assistant, not a substitute for reading the contract documents. Construction decisions remain your team's responsibility, which is why every answer opens the page it came from.
Either side can end a pilot. When you leave, your vault is deleted on request, and the schedules, exports and other work products Vest generated for you remain yours.
